China's First Glasses-Free 3D Volumetric Displays: Import and Courses
Imported China's first batch of volumetric 3D displays from overseas — customs clearance, commissioning and Chinese localization of technical documentation — and built matching courses around digital cultural heritage.
Background
A leading internet company's tech-education program wanted to bring frontier volumetric 3D display technology into classrooms, but the devices had no sales channel in China and no Chinese documentation or teaching content.
What we did
- Communication with the overseas vendor on procurement, NDA, warranty and technical support
- Import declaration, cross-border shipping and initial technical commissioning
- Organized and localized the SDK, product manuals and application examples into Chinese
- Developed a tech course around digital cultural heritage: course design, lesson plans and verbatim scripts
Outcomes
- First batch of devices imported and deployed in China
- Technical documentation localized into Chinese
- Matching courses developed
